The Agile Education Manifesto

— by

We are discovering better ways to help students at all levels gain knowledge and learn new skills and topics and through this research and observation, we have come to value:

Feedforward OVER Feedback

   Healthy Collaboration OVER Unhealthy competition

Agile Learning Culture OVER Comprehensive content

Adaptive Learning approaches OVER Rigid traditional approaches

While there is value in the items on the right, we value the items on the left more

Principles behind the Agile Education Manifesto

We follow these principles:

Highest priority is to show effective learning outcomes on weekly/bi-weekly/monthly basis

Building Agile blended learning culture to adapt Agility in learning

Bringing in Agile values in learning at early stage of development to create adaptive mindset for effective collaborative learning

Continuous attention to the excellence of learning by feed-forward

Nurturing thought leaders for progression of Agile learning

Presenting each and every outcome to stakeholders. Keeping It Short and Simple

Parents and teachers must collaborate daily to ensure inclusive, motivated learning

The best learning happens in small, self organized student led groups

Motivate the students to find their own way of learning. Teachers, parents and educational must support inclusive, differential learning approach for every student

Teachers, parents and students must be able to identify a sustainable learning pace

At regular intervals, the students, parents, teachers (and support staff) reflect on how to become more effective, then tune and adjust
their behaviors accordingly
